Development Progress - Spring 2025
Forgot about a winter update. Oops.
The Crown of Narsine has been low priority these last few months, but I have renewed interest in copying progress from my other games to this one and trying to make serious progress. When I complete a system or a mechanic that is in the other games, they immediately get the improvement or progress.
Not much progress since last time, though. I recall working on the map and using Azgaar's to procedurally provide some math and opportunities for future content. I recall working on some pieces of music. I also recall filling out some world setting facts and in-game writings. I'm going to keep a lid on that and let it cook.
As the central theme of this game is Partnership, I've been looking at how to closely integrate Narsine as a character and partner into every part of the game.
This is not an easy thing, but it's important to me that your relationship and partnership work both ways and carry meaning for the main character as you play them. So, events and mechanics must be tied to that, somehow.
There isn't much else to say. I am struggling, but I'm surviving. I'd like to do a bit better that that, though.
